Background
Azura is a Franco-Moroccan family-owned group of companies specialising in fruit, vegetables and aquaculture production.
Over the last 25 years, Azura has become one of the largest private producers of tomatoes in the world with 8000 employees, 68 farms and nearly 900 hectares of agricultural land and several aquaculture oyster farms.
Today Azura’s products are sold directly to major European supermarket chains.

Azura demands high standards, both in terms of the quality of its product and the conditions it is produced in, and carries out quality improvement projects on a continuous basis to ensure customer and consumer satisfaction.

Azura were seeking a Supply Chain Manager, as in most cases, the challenge of the assignment was finding a candidate with the right alignment with company values to lead a thriving team, constantly striving for growth and best practice. The new Supply Chain Manager would need to sustain and assure performance within a company that has achieved an impressive growth within the region.

Challenge
The identification of potential candidates was made using direct approaches as well as our extensive network. All potential candidates were interviewed to identify their key competencies, as well as to ascertain how their professional background could apply to the requirements of the position, their potential fit to Azura corporate culture and their motivations for a new challenge and for the position itself.
Solution
During the kick-off meeting the agenda for the search was set. on weekly basis we were communicated with HR Manager from Azura regarding the status of the process. During two weeks interviews were held while, in parallel, we continued to identify potential candidates. During the fourth week, after an extensive screening, we defined a list of four candidates that best fit the client requirements regarding both technical and soft skills, during this period professional references were also taken. From there on we assisted Azura with their internal process until the final negotiation with the selected candidate. The search came to a successful closure in less than 5 weeks. Durring this recruitment we have also manage to recruit a Logistic Manager at for same location.
