Nueva Pescanova is a leading multinational company in the sector of seafood commercialization. We are one of the few companies that integrate all the activities of the value chain: we fish, farm, process and commercialize more than 70 species of fish and shellfish in 80 countries all over the world.
A considerable challenge was presented on this recruitment.
The ideal candidates had to lead and develop the implementation of exponential technologies (IoT, 4.0, Big Data, AI, Drones) that lead to the improvement of productivity and profitability of aquaculture. This is was a new position and new department for our client.
We worked closely with the HR Director and his team to define the profile requirements and understand the objectives and goals they had to meet. Our experience in the Aquaculture industry helped us to quickly understand their needs and define the companies that had a similar business in order to identify the best candidates for this position.
After a detailed market research we identified (8) potential candidates and built a short list of (5) candidates with our client. These professionals had the competences, market knowledge and experience to meet and exceed the company’s expectations. A candidate with more than (13) years of experience in the industry and highly developed leadership skills accepted the offer.
